Margó Paciotti, breaking down all the barriers




Margo Paciotti, queer performance artist / activist. In 2000 she graduated as „Actress" and "Assistant director for theatre” at the SIT (International School of Theatre) in Rome. She continues with the study of the Ancient Comedy and the Poetic Humor with Eric de Bont. In 2004 she specializes in Commedia dell'Arte with Antonio Fava and she follows the training with workshops on Theatre - Dance (composition) with Daniel Lepkov in Orvieto and Living Theatre in Poznan (Poland). From 2002 she teaches in the “Scuola Internazionale di Teatro” now “Accademia Internazionale di Teatro” DIPLOMA LAUREA MIUR physical theatre and Commedia dell’Arte Masks. In 2005 she created with Lorenzo Pasquali ONDADURTO TEATRO, a theatre company based in Rome.The research and creative work done by ONDADURTO TEATRO is focused on Physical Theatre, Nouveau Cirque and Gesture. She directs the project ONDADURTO OFFICINA, a project of Artistic Residence of Urban Theatre, and she is one of the director of CONTACT ZONES / a project funded by CREATIVE EUROPE PROGRAMME. In 2019, for the FESTIVAL DONIZETTI OPERA, she directed, created costumes, scenery for the Opera “PIETRO IL GRANDE – Kzar di tutte le Russie. From 2021 she creates and directs DRAG ME UP – Queer Art Festival.
